With more than 76 years of experience as manufacturers of scientific laboratory equipment, J.P. Selecta has consolidated a prestigious position in the global market, distributing its products to more than 100 countries worldwide. The publication of catalogs in multiple languages, together with our participation in numerous internationally recognized exhibitions, such as Analytica, Achema, Medica, Pittcon, Expoquimia, Arablab, and exhibitions in Shanghai and Moscow, clearly reflects our continuous effort to expand into new markets.

Our ongoing research and commitment to quality over the years have earned us the ISO 9001:2000 certification for Design, Development, Production, and Service quality assurance, granted by AENOR in 1996.

The SELECTA GROUP consists of three companies: J.P. Selecta, our proprietary brand; Comecta, dedicated to representations and distribution; and Aquisel, a manufacturer of disposable materials for single-use analytical applications. The Group’s commercial activities are carried out through an established network of distributors.

Our Products

Our products are designed to ensure long-term durability. The extended lifetime of our equipment reflects our commitment to keeping units operational even after many years of continuous use. At SELECTA GROUP, our products are structured into three main areas:

J.P. Selecta: Design and manufacture of our own laboratory equipment and instruments.

Comecta: Distribution and representation of selected international manufacturers, including Comecta and Ivymen as proprietary brands.

Aquisel: Manufacturing of in vitro diagnostic medical products for single-use analysis.

Facilities

Our manufacturing plant is located in Abrera, Barcelona (Spain), covering an area of over 20,000 m². The facilities include control laboratories, process and environmental testing areas, and serial production lines equipped with advanced automation systems.

Our Technical Department is responsible for the development of designs, instructions, and procedures that govern all our products. Each unit manufactured undergoes a 100% final quality control inspection, ensuring full compliance with our quality standards.

The Sales and Customer Service Department is supported by a dedicated team responsible for managing databases and providing accurate technical information, ensuring maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Additionally, our Logistics Department employs modern packaging techniques to prepare, store, and ship fully verified products safely and efficiently.

All our manufacturing plants and equipment are equipped with advanced technology and environmentally responsible systems, enabling us to deliver high-quality products while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability.
