Gynius was created in Sweden with the vision that our Flagship product would improve women’s healthcare around the world. We believe that this goal is achievable by making women’s healthcare affordable, simple and accessible. Gynecologists identified the need for portable colposcopes that could be used in every clinical context globally, thus developing the Gynocular that is primarily used for cervical cancer screenings. After intensive research and development with clinical studies conducted in Sweden, Bangladesh, and Uganda, the Gynocular was launched in the market in 2010.
Gynius is a passion-driven company and we are very proud to have our device being used globally in various settings. We are also research oriented and always keen on participating in new studies.

Every year, about 580,000 women are diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. It is the fourth most common cancer and one of the deadliest forms of cancer that affect women globally.
