In 2009 ETC LED Operating Lights development project started with the goal of having a national Turkish brand in the top quailty surgical light market in the world. The development of the ETC LED Operating Lights were done with local engineering and technical workforce under supervision and sponsorship of the Turkish Scientific and Technological Research Council (TUBITAK, a Turkish goverment institution). In 2011 first results were achieved, a top quality high performance operating light proudly manufactured in Turkey.

Etkin Medical Devices started manufacturing and sales of the LED surgical lighting systems in 2012 and have become one of the renowned brands in the world. The company has been awarded by the Turkish goverment as one of the fastest growing 100 Turkish companies in 2013 as one of the fastest growing 100 Turkish companies, with a growth rate of 109% and in the rank of 77th.

In the Turkish market the company is a medical device importer and seller as well, and it performs in the areas of intensive care room equipment, operating room equipment supplies, radiology devices, anesthesia, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics and sterilization. Etkin Medical Devices is a proud provider of high quality and trustworthy customer service and technical support for the health care institutions, with an expertise in serving the operating rooms and ICU rooms. Company’s biomedical metrology laboratory offers accredited calibration services and maintenance check on most of the entire hospital equipment and devices. Biomedical metrology laboratory has a special expertise in the radiology equipment field.Currently LED surgical light products constitute the sole international business product line for exports.
