Clearene 是一种精选的萜烯混合物，专为替代组织学和
细胞学实验中的二甲苯和甲苯而配制。与其他溶剂替代品相比，它油性较低、干燥迅速且不留残渣。Clearene 能快速渗透组织而不会过度硬化，兼容开放式和封闭式组织处理设备。它可与醇类、石蜡和封片介质互溶，并含有抗氧化剂以防止染色褪色。Clearene 可生物降解，在提供所需溶剂特性的同时，避免了基于二甲苯或甲苯等芳香族碳氢化合物的有害缺点。
